Issue with VEN CTL activation file option is resolved

The --activation-file option available for VEN illumio-ven-ctl activation was broken because the script didn't correctly parse the option in the activation file. This issue is resolved: VEN activation with the --activation-file option now works as expected.

Policy sync failure caused by legacy iptables resolved

VEN 25.2.40 introduced a --wait flag to support the CIHP feature when a workload is hosting a container. Because the --wait option is not supported by legacy iptables, policy sync failed on some workloads running legacy Linux OSes. VEN 25.2.41 fixes this issue by using --wait only when it's supported by the workload's version of Linux.

Upgrading SUSE Linux VEN from 25.2.40 to 26.2.12 succeeds as expected

On SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 16 workloads, upgrading the VEN from 25.2.40 to 26.2.10 failed because incorrect operating system release information was extracted during the operation. The VEN upgrade now correctly detects the SUSE 16 release details so that upgrades succeed as expected.

Resolved vtapserver service crash during system shutdown

On Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8.6, the vtapserver service crashed during system shutdown. The error was recorded in the system log. This issue is fixed. VTAP service now terminates normally.
