Support for NSG Flow Logs

Microsoft is retiring Azure NSG flow logs on September 30, 2027 (with new resource creation disabled starting June 30, 2025).
On the retirement date, Microsoft will automatically delete existing NSG flow logs from Azure subscriptions and Illumio will cease processing NSG flow log data.
Currently, Illumio Cloud only supports NSG flow logs by request via feature flags and this support is not enabled by default. To ensure continuous traffic visibility, Illumio recommends that you migrate to Microsoft’s recommended alternative: Azure Virtual Network (VNet) flow logs, offering more reliable coverage.
Reach out to your Illumio account team to enable VNet flow log support before the September 2027 deadline.
