About the Illumio and Netflow/sFlow Integration

Currently, this feature is accessible to only a limited number of organizations.
Illumio has added an option to Flowlink 2.0 to support sending flow logs from on-prem routers and switches to the Illumio-hosted event hub, which in turn sends these flows to the Insights pipeline. This integration helps you to identify gaps in your network. See Flowlink for more information.
Prerequisites for the Illumio and Netflow/sFlow Integration
You must have administrator privileges to be able to onboard the connector.
You must have administrator privileges in the Illumio PCE.
You must have set up a service account in the Illumio PCE.
You must have set up Flowlink to be able to send Flows to Kafka.

Setting Up the Illumio - Netflow/sFlow Integration
To be able to implement the Illumio - Netflow/sFlow integration, you must add the following field to your Flowlink configuration's YAML file at the root level, at the same indentation level as pce_addr, api_key, and so forth.
Add pce_kafka:
installation_id: The value should be the name of the physical site that the Flowlink device is in.
