Standard Migration Tools
You can perform migration steps in two scenarios, depending on whether the PCEs front-end management ports are opened to the VEN host system.
When the PCE's front-end management ports are closed to the VEN host system, perform the migration using the pcemigrate tool.
Migration is automatically performed using the venmigrate tool when the PCEs front-end management ports are opened to the VEN host systems. This means that port 8443 is used (or 8444 for events). This port is used to manage the PCE from the API or the UI, and is also called the Northbound endpoint.
